Toyota’s 2011 Model Year lineup is looking good
Toyota is not looking to make huge waves by releasing a ton of new models for 2011. However, the 2011 lineup is still looking very impressive. Toyota is looking to come back “hipper” and stronger than ever.
The first on the “long-time-coming” list is a complete makeover to the Sienna. Sure, mini-vans can sometimes be considered geeky and only for soccer moms, but this year’s model is blurring the line between function and fashion in a remarkable way. The Sienna now features five different trim options, including the sporty SE, which even includes a mesh grill and lower riding height.
The new 2011 Toyota Avalon is also making waves nationwide, including Utah, specifically in Salt Lake City. New cars often end up more streamlined than their predecessors, and the Avalon is no different. 2011’s version will feature standard luxury features (including wood-grain trim), along with smaller headlights and even LED taillights. The car debuted at this year’s Chicago Auto Show, and has been impressing critics and reviewers ever since. Among the new standard items sure to impress tech-savvy drivers are XM Satellite radio, Bluetooth, an optional touch screen (with back camera) and even a USB port for portable music devices.
But in Salt Lake City, new cars do not get to steal all of the limelight. People looking for used cars can still find plenty of love in the area of Salt Lake City. Used Camry owners usually take pride in the low MSRP and great gas mileage that the Camry provides. And speaking of great gas mileage, let’s not forget about the Prius, which is overcoming recent struggles and re-asserting itself as a top contender in the hybrid market. All in all, 2011 is looking to be a strong year on the upswing for Toyota.
So although Toyota is holding back and not releasing dozens of new models this year, the new upgrades are really setting the manufacturer up for a positive year in Salt Lake City. Used Camry owners can still take a great amount of pride in their car, but they may also want to consider checking out some of the new improvements that are making shoppers across the nation turn their heads.
